We have launched "Voyage Japan," an online media platform delivering the culture and spirit of an authentic Japan that goes beyond the guidebook.

Itonoba Works (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce the launch of "Voyage Japan," an online media platform that broadly conveys the culture and spirit of an authentic Japan to international audiences.

"Voyage Japan" delivers, in multiple languages, content rooted in everyday Japanese life — covering traditional culture, spiritual heritage, and customs that rarely appear in conventional guidebooks. Rather than spotlighting well-known tourist destinations, the platform aligns with Japan's national policy of distributed tourism, offering perspectives from local residents to deepen and enrich the experience of inbound visitors.

The editorial direction is grounded in the belief that "travelers should understand Japan's cultural context before arrival, so that they can naturally choose appropriate behaviors during their stay." Each article embodies the Company's guiding philosophy: reducing overtourism through cultural understanding.

Beyond publishing articles, the Company plans multifaceted developments including social content on Instagram and X, partnerships with local governments and tourism associations, and integration with on-the-ground experience tours.
